What do we discuss during our IMPACT! Conferences?

Last year, we moved away from our previous 5 learning tracks. These redefined tracks showcase the interconnected impact of People, Processes, and Profitability, reflecting the forward-looking vision of the IMPACT! conferences while building on the rich history of safety, organizational learning, causal analysis, and resilience.

People: Developing Human Potential and Resilience

This track emphasizes the critical role of individuals and teams in building resilient, adaptive organizations. It explores human and organizational performance (HOP), focusing on creating systems that foster engagement, trust, and safety. Sessions in this track will delve into:

Enhancing workforce engagement through behavioral sciences.
Building mutual trust and improving human-system interfaces.
Promoting psychological safety to empower learning from both success and failure.
Leveraging social science and neuroscience advancements to drive cultural transformation and resilience.

Your path to learning starts on day ONE!

Travel to the Mile High City over the weekend, or first thing Monday to get the greatest IMPACT! out of your conference experience. Once you check in to the hotel be sure to swing by the conference registration table to meet the crew, grab your badge and snag your conference swag! Registration opens Sunday at 3 pm.

Monday kick's off our redesigned learning experience. Your ticket to learning includes free workshops, half-day or full-day options. Registration is open 6am to 5:30pm.

Join us for our Monday Mixer. This is the perfect opportunity to learn more about the week's activities, meet a Community Mentor, and make plans for your Wednesday and Thursday evening activities.

Tuesday starts our General & Breakout Session programming. Enjoy breakfast with the rest of your fellow Community Members and let the learning begin, again. The days are structured with general session programming in the morning/early afternoon, followed by a variety of options for breakout sessions.

You're invited to our Tuesday Evening Reception & CHOLearning Award Show! Network, have fun, and celebrate the individuals shaping the future of organizational learning. We will announce our 3rd Hall of Fame Class.

Wednesday follows the same conference programming. The planning committee is currently developing additional opportunities for entertainment and community building.

Stay through Thursday afternoon. Your 4-day learning experience will be capped by leading-edge workshops. New this year, all workshops are included!

Q. Is this a HOP (Human and Organizational Performance) conference?

A. Yes, and no. The IMPACT! Conferences, while similar in subject matter to HOP, do not limit areas of study or expertise to any given scientific area of research or prescribed methods of operational approaches. Our discussions aim to build on the fundamentals associated with Human and Organizational Performance, Root Cause Analysis, Data-Driven Decision Making, and much more, with the exploration of new social and neuroscientific research allowing our community members to evaluate old problems through a new lens.

Q. Is this a conference primarily for Safety professionals in the power generation space?
A. No. Throughout the last 32 years our Community has grown beyond the bounds of our foundations in the safety space to include all individuals looking to be proactive in their management of business operations and the processes & systems their people work within.

Q. I don't see a group ticket. We have a large group coming. Do you offer a discount?
A. Yes! Our streamlined ticketing system allows for each individual in your group to purchase their own discounted ticket. Email the names and contact information to Mary Webb, Board Treasurer at mary.webb@cholearning.org to recieve your discount code.

Q. What is the refund policy?
A. On or before 3/15/2026 - Full refund less Eventbrite’s non-refundable Service and Processing fees. On or after 3/16/2026 - no refund, the ticket can be changed to a virtual ticket or transferred to another person.

Q. I am bringing a guest, can I purchase meals for them so we can eat together?
A. Yes. There is a Guest Meal Package that covers breakfast and lunch with the conference group.

Q. Do I still get the early bird discount if I purchase a group ticket?
A. Yes. The group ticket qualifies for early bird pricing. The total early bird/group rate discount is $150 off.

Q. Who is CHOLearning?
A. CHOLearning stands for the Community of Human and Organizational Learning, formerly The HPRCT (Human Performance, Root Cause & Trending) Association. The Community aims to address persistent organizational problems and situations in a new way, through the study and application of the advancements in the social, organizational and neurosciences.
The organization is often referred to as CHOLearning (Kō-Learning) or simply as The Community.

Q. Are hotel rooms included in the registration costs?
A. No, hotel reservations are separate from event registration. We have negotiated a wonderful room rate for our hotel attendees. Click here for more information on how to book your room(s).

Q. Will there be vendors and recruiters in attendance?
A. Yes, our annual conference attracts industry-specific vendors and consultants in the areas of Human Performance Improvement, Root Cause Analysis, Safety, software solutions, and much more!

Speaker Expectations

CHOLearning is an association of professionals who share information, techniques, and experiences to
improve outcomes. We greatly appreciate your contribution to our collective efforts and look forward
to hearing what you wish to share with us.

Speakers normally dress in business casual clothing.
We have arranged for a “Speaker Ready Room " in the conference space. You will have access to this room from Monday, June 16, through Friday, June 20.
Professional decorum is expected and appreciated.
When leading-edge professionals get together to share their experiences and thoughts, differences of opinion are bound to occur. We celebrate these differences as long as they are delivered and explained with the utmost respect for those of differing opinions. Presentations that berate other professionals, processes, services, or products are never appreciated.
Our attendees enjoy hearing ways to improve organizational results, reduce risks, and value employee contributions to operational performance.
Presentations that focus on selling your process, service, or product are often poorly received

Session Materials

We will place PDF files of your presentation in the SCHED application in advance of the conference so that interested attendees can download and have it available during your session. In order to be included, please send us your PDF’s no later than Friday, May 12th , 2026.

Speaker Release

Speakers agree to unless otherwise specified, the Community of Human and Organizational Learning use of your image, biographical information, submitted abstract material, and any additional promotional materials you provide.

All presentation materials will be made available to Community members via the SCHED application
after the conference.
